Possible jobs?

It looks like we are shaping up for a busy axing season! I am not sure if there is such a thing, I am still not sure if axing is a proper word. But the good news is I have gotten quite a good amount of response and a lot of people in need of axe help and services.

I will of course keep everyone posted on my jobs and make sure to document them with pictures and such on here!

Also, I have received a couple of really great e-mails about my services and it looks like I may even have been contacted by a fellow do-gooder who is willing to help me put together a real site as opposed to this blogspot business. Hopefully I will get that up by Monday or Tuesday!!

Thank you everyone!

New axing services.....

So I was writing up a new ad and was trying to make the joke about "axing employees" and I thought to myself, why not? I have axed more difficult things before. So if you would like me to come to your office and axe an employee in my lumberjack garb please let me know.

As always here are the copies of posts for today. I did one in LA to see if there is anyone out there that may need some axing.

Yes you read that correctly.

I am offering the services of a modern day lumberjack for free!!

E-mail me with any jobs or things that you may need axed. For example- trees, firewood, employees. Kidding about the employees thing.

But seriously if you need axe services I am here to help.
Thanks!!

Paul B. here, your local lumberjack.
If you need any lumberjacking or axe services let me know.
Including axing trees, firewood, or employees. (Just kidding about the employees. Unless you really want to have me come to the office in my lumberjack garb and fire them, which I would be happy to do)

Thanks so much!!

Hi I am looking for a couple of things in specific, here is the list:

Lumberjack hat like this but vintage (http://www.menshats.com/product/184/crown-cap?productid=85832&channelid=FROOG)
Old flannel button down shirts (long or short sleeve)
Suspenders
Khaki Pants

I know it is a weird list of things, but I am looking for them because I am offering my services free of charge as a modern day urban lumberjack around the OC area and would like to look the part. If you are interested in any services, like log splitting or tree felling please contact me through this site http://bit.ly/1accqB

Thank you very much,

Love and Hate Rollercoaster Ride....

So I was super excited to get some fan mail and even some emails expressing interest in watching me in action, almost like my own fan club. But then it came, that ominous flagged & removed e-mail from Craigslist. It seems like their might be some haters out there but I will stand strong axe in hand and values in pocket and fight through this silly diversity. But now my posts will be stealth and hopefully still just as fun and funny while continuing to be able to offer my services. As always they will be copied and posted on this blog.

Update- I have two people very interested in my help, I am very excited but also don't want to count chickens before they hatch so I will keep mum for now, but will post details as soon as they are solidified.

Give Peaxe a Chance,
John L.

Fan Mail.......

Thank you so much my new friend Anacardium (Cashew Tree) :)

My Axe Officially Has a Name....

So far the consensus has been that I am crazy. I don't disagree but since when has it been such a crazy thing for someone to want to go out of their way to help someone out with something so trivial? I mean back in the day neighborhood kids would come out and help carry groceries to ones car or split firewood for the elderly neighbor. Well my answer, its 2009 and my neighborhood is getting bigger.

In talking to friends and family about this desire to axe and help people at the same time the overwhelming response is: "You are going to get murdered." Now I understand the whole stigma behind Craigslist but come on, I am the one showing up with an axe. My buddy responded with "Never bring an axe to a gun fight" brilliant sentiment. My thoughts are: I have done quite a few transactions over Craigslist and everything has worked out just fine. In true contrarian form he brought up the point that he has done the same, but with friends or in public places. Well I am bringing a friend, Sam. Sam Axe named after Bruce Campbell's character on Burn Notice. I think Bruce would agree that it is a fitting name. So now my axe has a name.

Even though I have the purest of intentions in mind I can still understand that this might be intimidating to some. But I can assure you that I am here to help and want to pass on some great karma, and to not sound too much like a hippy I would much rather cut a tree down with an axe than have that same tree cut down with an emission spewing powertool.

Thanks for reading,
Paul B.
